VLR Weight Permit and Road Posting
The program will include:
- Discussion of the state statutes related to Weight Permits and what they mean.
- Discussion of the state statutes related to Road Posting, both seasonal and permanent.
- Discussion of the reporting and permitting process for Weight posting and permits.
- An overview of statutes regarding agricultural service vehicles versus farm vehicles.
- An overview of DMV policy, jurisdiction and process…..to a point.
- Discussion of common mistakes made making enforcement unlikely or difficult.
- Discussion of other related questions or concerns from the towns
